Tour de France 2025: Results
fotobureau Cor VosTadej Pogacar won the 112th edition of the Tour de France ahead of Jonas Vingegaard and Florian Lipowitz. The Slovenian highlighted his performance with four stage wins, making him the most successful stage hunter as well. The race started on Saturday 5 July 2025 in Lille, and finished in Paris on Sunday the 27th.

Van Aert triumphs in Paris, Pogacar seals GC
Wout van Aert counters an attack from Tadej Pogacar on the steep cobbles of the Côte de la Butte Montmartre and solos to a stunning victory. The Slovenian finishes fourth, securing his fourth overall Tour de France title. Jonas Vingegaard and Florian Lipowitz join him on the final podium.

Groves triumphs from the break, Pogacar nearly there
In a wet and hilly race through the Jura, Kaden Groves breaks away from his fellow escapees Frank van den Broek and Jake Stewart with just under 17 kilometres to go. The Australian crowns his solo effort with a convincing victory. The peloton crosses the line 7 minutes later, with Tadej Pogacar takes another step closer to his fourth Tour win.

Thymen Arensman launches an attack just over 14 kilometres from the finish in La Plagne. He keeps Jonas Vingegaard, Florian Lipowitz and Tadej Pogacar at bay and takes his second mountain stage win in the Tour de France.

O'Connor wins Queen Stage, Pogacar retains yellow
Vingegaard & co put yellow jersey Tadej Pogacar under pressure in the stage over the Col du Glandon and Col de la Madeleine, but that effort comes to an end on the Col de la Loze. Ben O'Connor seizes the opportunity and launches a solo attack 10 kilometres from the summit. with 10 kilometres to go. He successfully completes it, while Pogacar gains time on Vingegaard in the final phase.
