Vuelta 2025: Riders and teams
fotobureau Cor VosPrimoz Roglic won last year's edition of La Vuelta. The Slovenian thus equalled Roberto Heras’ record, as both won the Spanish Grand Tour four times. Roglic is not adding another Vuelta win to his tally, as he is not in Spain. Former Giro winner Jai Hindley lines up alongside João Almeida, Jonas Vingegaard, Matteo Jorgenson, Mikel Landa, Giulio Ciccone, Juan Ayuso, Egan Bernal, Mads Pedersen, and Jasper Philipsen.

Withdrawals
The 2025 Vuelta a España began in Turin on Saturday, August 23, with 184 riders at the start. Of those, 153 made it to the finish, meaning 31 dropped out along the way.
