Gent-Wevelgem has been renamed In Flanders Fields, and its 88th edition takes place on Sunday, 29 March. Dating back to 1934, the race features cobblestones, hills, and unpaved roads. Preceded by E3 Saxo Bank Classic and followed by Dwars door Vlaanderen and the Tour of Flanders, In Flanders Fields is the second race in the so-called Flemish Week. The four Classics are held within a ten-day period. Starting in Middelkerke, In Flanders Fields covers approximately 250 kilometres. (Slideshow route/profile)
Mads Pedersen won the last two editions. One more and he will be the sole record holder in In Flanders Fields with four victories.
