Michael Storer won the 48th edition of the Tour of the Alps. Thymen Arensman and Derek Gee flanked the Australian on the final podium. The race started on Monday, 21 April 2025, and finished on Friday, the 25th.

Prodhomme wins from breakaway, Storer takes GC
On the final climb of the day, teammates Paul Seixas and Nicolas Prodhomme drop their breakaway companions. At the finish, Prodhomme is given priority and wins the stage. Michael Storer cracks Thymen Arensman and takes the overall win, although the Dutchman still finishes a respectable second.

It’s a cold, wet day in the Alps. Thymen Arensman attacks from the breakaway midway through the race – a group that had only just formed. The Dutchman solos to the stage win over the final 80 kilometres. He also moves into the leader’s jersey

Frigo crowns long solo effort, Storer retains overall lead
Marco Frigo attacks from the breakaway on the Furkapass with roughly 60 kilometres remaining. He holds on to take the stage win, while Michael Storer retains the leader’s jersey.

Double win Storer in 2nd stage
Michael Storer attacks from the lead group on the final climb of the day. The Australian extends his lead over the closing 10 kilometres and takes the victory. As a bonus, he also moves into the leader's jersey.

Giulio Ciccone sprints to victory in the opening stage of the Tour of the Alps, seizing the first leader’s jersey in the mountainous race. Felix Gall and Paul Seixas finish second and third.
