Summer Olympics 2028 Los Angeles
The 2028 Summer Olympics will take place in Los Angeles. The last event was held in Paris, where Remco Evenepoel and Kristen Faulkner soloed to victory in the road races. Evenepoel also won gold at the Olympic ITT event, as did Grace Brown. Valentin Madouas and Marianne Vos took silver at the road races, and Christophe Laporte and Lotte Kopecky settled for bronze. Filippo Ganna and Anna Henderson were silver medalists at the chrono races, and Wout van Aert and Chloé Dygert won bronze.

The 2028 Olympic Games get under way on 14 July. The women’s and men’s road races are scheduled for 22 and 23 July respectively. In both cases, the race starts at Venice Beach and finishes at Griffith Observatory, the observatory perched on Mount Hollywood. The women are expected to tackle 2,950 metres of climbing over 163 kilometres, while the men face 5,010 metres of elevation gain across a 251-kilometre route. Along the way, the riders will take on the Rock Store climb, a 4-kilometre ascent featuring ramps up to 10%, and final climb rises for 2 kilometres at 7%.
The individual time trials are set to start at the Los Angeles Zoo and finish at Griffith Observatory.
