La Flèche Wallonne 2026
Edition 90 of La Flèche Wallonne - The Walloon Arrow in English - is held on Wednesday 22 April. Dating back to 1936, the steep hills of the Ardennes are emblematic of the race. The finish lies at the top of the Mur de Huy, a 1.3-kilometre climb with sections reaching up to 17%, which is tackled several times. This year's route amounts to 208.8 kilometres.
Last year, Tadej Pogacar pulled 10 seconds clear of Kévin Vauquelin on the final ascent of the Mur de Huy, with Tom Pidcock crossing the line a further 2 seconds later in third place.
