Liège–Bastogne–Liège 2026
Tadej Pogacar won the 112th edition of Liège–Bastogne–Liège and Paul Seixas and Remco Evenepoel joined him on the podium. The race, held on Sunday 26 April 2026, covered 259.5 kilometres and featured just under 4,400 metres of elevation gain.

On La Redoute, Tadej Pogacar and Paul Seixas ride away from the rest of the field, and on the Roche-aux-Faucons the world champion manages to shake off the Frenchman. He opens up a gap of well over a minute and wins Liège–Bastogne–Liège for the fourth time in his career. One more to go and he will equal record holder Eddy Merckx.

With the inaugural edition dating back to 1892, Liège-Bastogne-Liège is the oldest of all the cycling Classics. 'La Doyenne' is situated in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes and the riders tackle numerous steep climbs on the way back from Bastogne. It is therefore a race in which climbers and puncheurs have the most success.
