Evenepoel wins ITT, overall victory for Almeida
In the final time trial of the Tour de Romandie, Remco Evenepoel storms to a commanding win, while João Almeida finishes second to secure the overall win. Lenny Martinez and Jay Vine flank the Portuguese rider on the final podium.

Martinez takes queen stage and GC lead
In the final 4 kilometres of the queen stage, João Almeida and Lenny Martinez go clear together. The Frenchman outsprints Almeida at Thyon 2000 to take both the stage win and the leader’s jersey. Lorenzo Fortunato and João Almeida sit in second and third place in the GC, just 2 and 3 seconds down respectively.

Jay Vine takes the spoils with an attack from the flamme rouge on the punchy finish in Cossonay. Lenny Martinez outkicks João Almeida in the sprint for second place, while Alex Baudin retains the overall lead.

Fortunato wins in La Grande Béroche, Baudin new leader
After a mountainous start, stage 3 is decided on the flat. Alex Baudin, Junior Lecerf, Juan Pedro López, Lennert Van Eetvelt and Lorenzo Fortunato break away from a front group that includes all the GC contenders. While the escapees work well together, the cooperation falters behind. Fortunato takes the spoils with a late attack, while Baudin finishes second to take the leader’s jersey.
