Tour de Romandie 2025 Route stage 3: Cossonay - Cossonay
Friday, 2 May – Stage 3 of the Tour de Romandie is a 183.1-kilometre race featuring nearly 2,500 metres of elevation gain. The finish lies at the top of a 2.2-kilometre climb at 5.9%.
The route includes several loops around the start and finish town of Cossonay, resulting in the riders crossing the finish line multiple times. This offers plenty of opportunity to envisage your decisive move in the finale.
The first climb of the day is a 4.5-kilometre test at 4% towards Montcherand. From there, the riders head back to Cossonay on undulating roads for the first crossing of the finish line. As mentioned, the line itself is drawn at the top of a 2.2-kilometre climb averaging 5.9%.
The second loop is also rolling, but with no KOM points on offer, followed by a final circuit that features the longest climb of the day. The Col du Mollendruz averages 3.4% over 14.6 kilometres, though stretches of up to 10% add extra challenge. From the summit, 39.9 kilometres remain.
The descent is steep at first, then eases into a false flat all the way to the punchy finish in Cossonay.
The first thee riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds.
