Tour de Romandie 2025 Route prologue: Saint-Imier
After 700 metres, the road rises ever so slightly for 1.2 kilometres, before a short descent is immediately followed by the route’s only climb: 200 metres at 7%. A technical section then leads into the final kilometre, which features four more corners.
The Tour de Romandie often opens with a prologue. Last year, Maikel Zijlaard stormed into the first leader’s jersey ahead of Cameron Scott and Julian Alaphilippe. In 2023, Josef Cerny took the win ahead of Tobias Foss and Rémi Cavagna, while in 2022 it was Ethan Hayter who came out on top, beating Rohan Dennis and Felix Großschartner.
