The 12th edition of the Strade Bianche Donne takes place on Saturday 7 March. Amounting to approximately 140 kilometres, the women race from Siena to Siena with some 40 kilometres on gravel. The route travels on the same roads as the men’s race and the finale is an exact copy with the finish line at the illustrious Piazza del Campo in Siena after a short and steep climb. With her victory last year, Demi Vollering drew level with the race’s two other double winners, Lotte Kopecky (2022, 2024) and Annemiek van Vleuten (2019, 2020). Vollering had also taken the win in Siena in 2023.
Other winners of Strade Bianche Donne include Chantal van den Broek-Blaak (2021), Anna van der Breggen (2018), Elisa Longo Borghini (2017), Lizzie Deignan (2016, then still Armitstead), and Megan Guarnier (2015).
