Almeida wins in Emmetten, Vauquelin retains lead
Yellow jersey Kévin Vauquelin attacks 400 metres from the summit finish in Emmetten, launching from an elite group. But in the final 50 metres, João Almeida and Oscar Onley come past him. The Portuguese takes the stage win, while Vauquelin retains the yellow jersey.

João Almeida and Oscar Onley rise to the fore on the brutally steep final ascent of the Queen Stage. In the sprint at the summit, the Scot beats the Portuguese Almeida, while Kévin Vauquelin finishes just under a minute behind and takes the overall race lead.
