Tour de Suisse 2025 Route stage 6: Chur - Neuhausen am Rheinfall
Wildhaus and Hemberg are the two places where aspiring Mountain King can bag KOM points. The first climb is 8.9 kilometres long at an average gradient of 6.8% (summit at kilometre 52.7), while the second covers 6.2 kilometres at 5.5% (summit at kilometre 75.4). The rest of the route isn’t exactly flat, but overall, it’s a course where a sprinter who doesn’t mind a bit of climbing will feel right at home.
An uncategorised climb that's worth mentioning appears after just 18 kilometres. It rises for 3 kilometres at 6.8%, while the route after passing through Hemberg is far from pan flat either, but it would be a stretch to call it hilly. Gently rolling is more accurate.
Between kilometre 151.2 and 152.3 – the designated Tissot kilometre – riders can contest two sprints worth 3, 2 and 1 bonus seconds each. At the finish, 10, 6 and 4 bonus seconds are up for grabs.
