Tour de Suisse 2025 Route stage 8: Beckenried - Stockhütte

Tour de Suisse 2025 Sunday, 22 June – The Tour de Suisse comes to a close with an ITT featuring 834 metres of climbing over a distance of 10.1 kilometres. Barring the first 900 metres, the road rises steeply virtually all the way to the finish.

After just over 4 kilometres, the gradient eases briefly for a few hundred metres, but aside from that, the road climbs steadily and steeply, often with punishing double-digit gradients.

The climb to the finish at the Stockhütte ski station is 9.2 kilometres long, with an average gradient of 9%. The final 5.3 kilometres even serve up an average gradient of 9.8%, while the steepest section – 600 metres at 11.5% – ends 1 kilometre before the line.

Last year’s Tour de Suisse also wrapped up with a mountain time trial. João Almeida took the win ahead of Adam Yates and Mattias Skjelmose. The trio ended up sharing the final podium as well, although it was Yates who stood on the top step, with Almeida one below.

The intermediate time check is positioned at kilometre 4.5 – in the section where the gradient momentarily eases.
