It was his fourth Tour victory in six years; on the other two occasions, Jonas Vingegaard came out on top. In 2026 we can expect another showdown between the two, while Remco Evenepoel and Juan Ayuso will also be targeting the overall win. With another victory, Pogacar would draw level with record-holders Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Indurain.
