World Cycling Championships 2028 Abu Dhabi
fotobureau Cor VosThe 2028 Road World Championships will take place in Abu Dhabi. The route has not yet been revealed. Flat, windswept terrain is certainly possible, but the emirate also features mountains, such as Jebel Hafeet. This 10.8-kilometre climb at 6.6% often plays a decisive role in the UAE Tour.
The reigning champions are Tadej Pogacar and Lotte Kopecky (road races), Remco Evenepoel and Grace Brown (ITT), and Australia (mixed relay).
