Tour of the Basque Country 2026
Edition 65 of the Tour of the Basque Country - or, Itzulia Basque Country - leaves on Monday 6 April to finish on Saturday the 11th. The contest in northern Spain is a feast for climbers and puncheurs, as the Basque Country is famous for its steep hills and mountains. The race to the Sanctuary of Arrate used to be a staple, but in 2023 and 2024 it was not included
João Almeida won last year's edition ahead of Enric Mas and Maximilian Schachmann.
