World Cycling Championships 2026 Canada
fotobureau Cor VosThe 2026 World Cycling Championships kicks off on Sunday, September 20, with the individual time trials, and the men’s road race is set to conclude the event on Sunday, September 27. It will be the second time the battle for the rainbow jersey takes place in Montreal; in 1974, Eddy Merckx won his third world title there. Can Tadej Pogacar match 'The Cannibal'? The two-time World Champion claimed victory at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal in both 2022 and 2024.
The reigning champions are Tadej Pogacar and Magdeleine Vallieres (road races), Remco Evenepoel and Marlen Reusser (ITT), and Australia (mixed relay).
