Vuelta 2025 Favourites stage 19: For Fast Finishers #4

fotobureau Cor VosSprinters and the Vuelta a España remain a tricky combination. But stage 19 looks appealing for the fast men, with 1,500 metres of climbing and a slightly uphill finish.

After nearly three weeks of relentless climbing, it’s not just the sprinters who will enjoy a breather. The entire peloton gets a break on flat roads. Not much steering is required either. The route mainly heads straight south from Rueda to Guijuelo, where a loop completes the course.

Fast men should be aware, though, that the final 3 kilometres feature a slight uphill drag.
