Vuelta Femenina 2025 Route stage 1: Barcelona TTT

Vuelta Femenina 2025 Sunday 4 May – La Vuelta Femenina kicks off with an 8.1-kilometre team time trial in Barcelona. The course is flat and fast.

The start ramp is set up at Casa Milà, the iconic building designed by the same architect as the Sagrada Família: Antoni Gaudí. After just two corners, the teams hit the straight Avinguda Diagonal, which they follow all the way to the Palau Reial de Pedralbes, where they turn around and return via the same route.

With only five corners and flat roads throughout, high speeds are guaranteed.

The only time check is at the turnaround point by the Palau Reial de Pedralbes, after 4 kilometres.

As in the past two years, the Vuelta Femenina kicks off with a team time trial. In 2023, Jumbo-Visma claimed victory by just 1 second over Canyon SRAM Racing, while last year Lidl-Trek took the honours – clocking the same time as Visma | Lease a Bike and finishing 1 second ahead of SD Worx–Protime. That course was also pancake-flat, but twice as long as this year’s route.
