Race report
Kristian Sbaragli, Đorđe Đurić, Carlos Samudio, and Manuele Tarozzi form the breakaway of the day. Their lead hovers around 2 minutes for a long time before dropping to half a minute in the last 70 kilometres. Later, it doubles again, but ultimately, they are caught with 3 kilometres remaining.

Tim Merlier launches his sprint from far out, doing so with such conviction that he opens up a gap. He powers on just as impressively and takes the win by several metres.

Tadej Pogacar remains firmly in control of the overall lead.
