Race report
Đurić Đorđe, Samudio Carlos, Biagini Federico, Conforti Lorenzo, and Tarozzi Manuele are the first attackers. The peloton is happy to let them go and gives them 2 minutes.
In the run-up to the final climb, Samudio and Biagini push on together. They extend their lead over the peloton by a minute, beore being caught early on the Jebel Jais.
In the last 2 kilometers, Felix Gall attacks. He doesn't really get away, but it costs leader Joshua Tarling his lead.
It comes down to a sprint from a small group, and Tadej Pogacar wins it comfortably. This earns him the leader's jersey.
