UAE Tour 2025 Route stage 4: Fujairah – Umm al Quwain

UAE Tour 2025 Thursday 20 February – The 4th stage of the UAE Tour covers 181 kilometres from Fujairah to Umm Al Quwain. Crossing the peninsula that the Emirates sit on from east to west, the race has bunch sprint written all over it.

After setting off from Fujairah, the riders head south along the Gulf of Oman before turning right and venturing into the desert. The road climbs at a slight gradient for several kilometres towards Masafi, which, at 453 metres, is the highest point of the day.

The riders reach Masafi after 46.9 kilometres. From there, a gentle downhill takes them to the remainder of the route, which is completely flat.

Umm Al Quwain, the finish location, made its UAE Tour debut two years ago. Last year, Olav Kooij sprinted to victory in the capital of the UAE’s least populated emirate, while Dylan Groenewegen took the spoils in 2023.

The first three riders across the line bag 10, 6, and 4 bonus seconds, while the intermediate sprints offer 3, 2, and 1 seconds.
