UAE Tour 2025 Route stage 2: Al Hudayriyat Island ITT
Two U-turns are basically the only places where riders will need to hit the brakes. The rest of the course is straight with some wide turns that allow riders to maintain high speeds. Moreover, the tarmac is in excellent condition.
The only intermediate time check comes after 5.8 kilometres.
Last year’s individual time trial in the UAE Tour was also held on Al Hudayriyat Island – in fact, this year's course is an exact copy. Back then, Brandon McNulty took the win in 13 minutes and 27 seconds, with Jay Vine finishing 2 seconds behind and Mikkel Bjerg rounding out the podium at 4 seconds down.
