The Slovene won the Tirreno-Adriatico, the Belgian turned out on top on the UAE Tour. Winning three stages, Arnaud Démare was the most successful rider in terms of stage wins on last year’s Giro d’Italia, while Simon Yates and Koen Bouwman both celebrated two times.
