Vuelta 2023: Results
fotobureau Cor VosSepp Kuss won the 78th edition of La Vuelta ahead of his team mates Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic. It was a special victory, as Kuss supported those two in July and May as a super domestique with their respective Tour de France and Giro d'Italia victories. Winning three stages, Remco Evenepoel and Kaden Groves were the most successfull stage hunters on the 2023 Vuelta.

Groves wins in Madrid, Kuss seals GC
Remco Evenepoel, Filippo Ganna, Kaden Groves, Nico Denz, Lennard Kämna en Rui Costa jump off the front of the peloton on Madrid's city circuit. The peloton regains contact inside the last 600 metres before Evenepoel jumps again. Groves tracks him down to win the sprint ahead of Filippo Ganna. Sepp Kuss seals the GC triumph.

Poels wins five-up sprint, Kuss seals GC win
Remco Evenepoel, Wout Poels, Lennert Van Eetvelt, Pelayo Sánchez and Marc Soler are the remaining attackers from a huge breakaway on the last of ten climbs. The five hold off the chasers before Poels sprints to victory on the uphill home straight. Sepp Kuss seals his GC triumph 10 minutes later.

Alberto Dainese sprints to victory on the dead straight finish lane in Íscar. He outguns Filippo Ganna and Marijn van den Berg, while Sepp Kuss stays in red.

Remco Evenepoel strikes with 30 kilometres remaining from the breakaway. He leaves Max Poole and Damiano Caruso and solos to victory in the last mountain stage of La Vuelta. Sepp Kuss stays in the lead of the general classification.

Remco Evenepoel gives it a go with a long-range attack, but it's Jumbo who takes the reins on the Angliru. Primoz Roglic wins the race ahead of Jonas Vingegaard, while Sepp Kuss loses some time, but the American retains the red jersey
