Race report
Towards the end of the first ascent of the Col d'Èze, Maëva Squiban attacks, but she gets no support and is soon swallowed back up by the peloton, which is already a much-reduced group, although Lorena Wiebes is still there.

On the descent, Malwina Mul goes clear and is joined by Paula Ostiz. Behind the pair, Wiebes takes 17 points in the intermediate sprint, securing the overall victory in the points classification.

On the second ascent of the Col d'Èze, third-placed Marlen Reusser is dropped from the heavily reduced peloton. Once over the top, the leading group is down to Antonia Niedermaier, Kasia Niewiadoma, Juliette Berthet, Demi Vollering, Paula Blasi, Dominika Wlodarczyk, Elisa Longo Borghini, Niamh Fisher-Black, Isabella Holmgren, Cédrine Kerbaol and Femke De Vries.

Isabella Holmgren attacks on the third ascent of the Col d'Èze and opens up a 1-minute lead. As she tackles the Tour's final climb, she still has 35 seconds in hand.

The 21-year-old Canadian is caught on the steepest section of the final climb, just as Kasia Niewiadoma puts in an acceleration with Demi Vollering on her wheel. With 3.2 kilometres to the summit, the yellow jersey takes over at the front, but she cannot shake off the Pole.

In the final 600 metres of the Col d'Èze, Vollering finally drops Niewiadoma and starts the descent to Nice with a 30-second lead. She doubles her advantage on the descent, while Niewiadoma is caught by the chasing group behind.

Demi Vollering underlines her dominance with her third stage win and seals the overall victory 1 minute and 18 seconds ahead of Kasia Niewiadoma, while Elisa Longo Borghini rounds out the final podium.
