foto: Cor VosPrimoz Roglic and Juan Ayuso were tipped as the main contenders for the 2025 Giro d’Italia, but neither reached the finish. Isaac Del Toro led the race for eleven stages, before Simon Yates seized the pink jersey in the final mountain stage. Mads Pedersen was the most prolific stage winner with four victories, while Olav Kooij claimed two bunch sprints. All other stages were won by different riders.
