Race report
Jensen Plowright, Martin Urianstad Bugge, Joel Suter and Lucan Stevenson initiate the breakaway before Storm Ingebrigtsen, Pepijn Reinderink and Fran Miholjević bridge across to join them.
On the final ascent of Corkscrew Road, the peloton reels in the last attackers, while overall leader Tobias Lund Andresen is dropped. Further up the climb, Jay Vine launches an attack after being led out by Adam Yates. He crests the summit first with Jhonatan Narváez on his wheel.
The two team-mates press on together and extend their advantage over the chasers. Vine takes the win and the leader’s jersey, while Andreas Kron wins the sprint from the peloton 58 seconds later.
