Tour Down Under 2014
The World Tour season 2014 started 21 January with the Tour Down Under. The Australian six-stage race was won by Simon Gerrans ahead of Cadel Evans and Diego Ulissi. As a result Gerrans was the first leader in the 2014 World Tour classification.

Nuriootpa - Angaston
On January 21th Tour Down Under 2014 starts with a relatively simple and short leg of 135 kilometers. Nice scenery, the 'country side' around Adelaide, South-Australia. Riders make three local laps and just before the finish line the face a modest hurdle: Menglers Hill.

Tour Down Under 2014 Results stage 1 and GC
Stage 1 in the 2014 Tour Down Under, leading from Nuriootpa to Angaston, was won by Simon Gerrans. After 135 kilometers in the saddle he was the best in the sprint of the first peloton, beating André Greipel.Read more »
Prospect - Stirling
January 22 - stage 2 in the Tour Down Under leads from Prospect to Stirling, a ride of 150 kilometers. Drivers aiming at a good classification should be aware, since the circuit at the end is treacherous. In the foothills of Mount Lofty, Tom-Jelte Slagter laid the foundation for last year’s overall victory.

Tour Down Under 2014 Results stage 2 and GC
Diego Ulissi has won the second stage in the 2014 Tour Down Under. The race started in Prospect and ended after 150 hilly kilometers in Stirling. At the finish line Ulissi was the fastest sprinter in a group of 25. Yesterday's winner Simon Gerrans came in second and is still GC leader.Read more »
Norwood – Campbelltown
23 January – Stage 3 in the Tour Down Under is a short one but tricky one. It measures only 145 kilometers but just before the end, riders face Corkscrew Road Hill, a nasty short climb with a lot of hairpins and steepest parts of up to 15%.
