Tour Down Under, edition 2014, is almost finished. Stage 6 is the last one and takes the riders on a street race of 85,5 kilometers through Adelaide. It’s definitely sprinter’s alarm.

If they drive too fast, cyclists risk dizziness today. First twenty times the same circuit and after that it is time for the winners to enjoy the Australian (sparkling) wines.
In 2013 it was André Greipel who won the last ride. Geraint Thomas took bonus seconds and staggered onto the podium, climbing from 5 to 3 in the general classification en taking the blue jersey (points) from overall winner Tom-Jelte Slagter.
So, apart from dizziness, riders have to be aware for other thing as well: jerseys and bonuses.
The stage finishes around 3.15 pm (ACST).
