Tour de France 2024: Results
fotobureau Cor VosTadej Pogacar won the 111th edition of the Tour de France ahead of Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel. The Slovenian highlighted his performance with six stage wins, making him the most successful stage hunter as well. The race started on Saturday 29 June 2024 in Florence, Italy, and finished in Nice on Sunday the 21st of July.

And that's six for yellow jersey Pogacar
Tadej Pogacar once again puts on a show in the ITT from Monaco to Nice. He takes his sixth stage win ahead of Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel. The Slovenian wins the third Tour de France in his career, while Vingegaard and Evenepoel round out the final podium.
Pogacar bests Vingegaard at Col de la Couillole
After pocketing stage 19, Tadej Pogacar said that he wouldn't fight for the victory in stage 20, but when Soudal-QuickStep brings back the breakaway, he can't help himself. Jonas Vingegaard counters an attack by Evenepoel, and the the two rivals are together at the helm. The yellow jersey is much faster in the sprint-à-deux.
Pogacar extends GC lead with another masterclass
Matteo Jorgenson attacks from the breakaway on the early slopes of the finishing climb. Tadej Pogacar goes after him with about 10 kilometres to go. The yellow jersey gobbles up all the attackers until he makes the final catch inside the last 2 kilometres. The Slovenian forges on to take his fourth stage win.
Campenaerts wins sprint-à-trois, Pogacar still in yellow
Michal Kwiatkowski attacks from the lead breakaway in the last of five climbs in the foothills of the Alps. Mattéo Vecher and Victor Campenaerts track him down. It comes down to the sprint with Campenaerts taking the win with a powerfull kick. Tadej Pogacar stays in yellow.
Carapaz solos to triumph in Superdévoluy, Pogacar still in yellow
The riders unleash fireworks right from the start in the race to Superdévoluy. On the penultimate climb, the Col du Noyer, Simon Yates attacks and Richard Carapaz bridges across to him. The Olympic Champion then heads alone to solo to the first Tour de France stage win in his career. Tadej Pogacar stays in yellow.
