O Gran Camiño 2024: Vingegaard extends lead with solo victory

Race report
Castrillo, De La Cruz, Piccolo, Etxeberria, Silva, Langelotti and Murguialday form the breakaway. The seven ride to a 5 minutes lead, while the latter two are the first riders to be dropped. The lead of the remaing five drops below 1 minute in the last climb of the day.

Then Vingegaard strikes and he gobbles up the attackers. Only Castrillo is able to match his move. That is, initially, as he is dropped on descent.

The Dane solos to victory to extend his lead on GC.
