Tour of Valencia 2025 Route stage 1: Orihuela - Orihuela

Wednesday, 5 February - The Tour of Valencia kicks off with a 34.5-kilometre team time trial. Apart from a few rolling sections halfway, the route is flat.

To be precise, there are 244 metres of elevation gain on the way from Orihuela to Orihuela Costa. The course is ideal for a TTT, with barely any technical corners to disrupt the rhythm.

Last year, the Tour of Valencia also visited Orihuela. Back then, stage 3 finished with a bunch sprint, won by Jonathan Milan ahead of Arne Marit and Giovanni Lonardi.
