Tour of Britain 2025 Route + results stage 3: Milton Keynes - Ampthill

Tour of Britain 2025 Thursday 4 September – Stage 3 of the Tour of Britain is a short one. Covering 132.7 kilometres, the riders travel from Milton Keynes to Ampthill, with rolling terrain shaping the day.

The riders set off from Midsummer Boulevard in Milton Keynes and travel over the rolling roads north of Luton, passing through Toddington, Barton-le-Clay and Shillington, towards a circuit that they tackle one and a half times. The toughest obstacle on the loop is Hillfoot, a 700-metre climb at 4.3%, which they face twice.

After the second ascent of Hillfoot, just under 20 kilometres remain. Shortly afterwards, the riders leave the circuit and continue over gently undulating roads to the finish on Woburn Road in Ampthill.
