Tour of Britain 2025 Route + results stage 2: Stowmarket - Stowmarket

Wednesday 3 September – Wednesday 3 September – On the second day, the Tour of Britain takes on a large loop around Stowmarket, a market town in Suffolk. The stage is 173.7 kilometres long.

Starting out on Ipswich Street in Stowmarket, the riders head out via places such as Stradbroke, Walsham le Willows, Lavenham, Stoke-by-Nayland and Hadleigh, before returning to where it all began: Ipswich Street in Stowmarket.

Just like the opening stage, day two is an open invitation to the sprinters. The only categorised climb, Semer Hill, comes with roughly 20 kilometres remaining.
