Renewi Tour 2025 Route + results stage 4: Riemst – Bilzen-Hoeselt

The route overlaps with last year’s opening stage, but it is not a carbon copy. Back then the race came down to a sprint, with Jonathan Milan outpacing Jasper Philipsen and Axel Zingle.

The day begins with three laps of just over 50 kilometres each. The first lap features the Côte Sur les Coteaux (1.7 kilometres at 3.6%), Gousbeemdstraat (700 metres at 4.1%), Keiberg (700 metres at 5.5%) and Brugstraat (500 metres at 4.3%), while the Slingerberg (800 meters at 6.7%) is added in the second lap before the other four climbs.

In the third lap the riders once again tackle the Slingerberg, but this time they skip the Côte Sur les Coteaux and head straight for the Gousbeemdstraat, Keiberg and Brugstraat. Adding extra spice, the Green Kilometre – where three intermediate sprints award 3, 2 and 1 bonus seconds within 1,000 metres – lies just before the Keiberg.

At 41.5 kilometres, the final lap only features the Slingerberg and the Gousbeemdstraat. The latter comes 8.1 kilometres before the finish in Bilzen-Hoeselt, where the last 500 metres rise to the line at moderate gradients.

Apart from the Green Kilometre, situated 56.4 kilometres from the line, bonus seconds are up for grabs at the finish: 10, 6 and 4 for the first three riders.
