Renewi Tour 2025 Route + results stage 1: Terneuzen – Breskens
Rarely is a cycling race as pancake-flat as the Renewi Tour’s opening stage. Over a distance of 182.6 kilometres – by no means a short ride – the riders face just 250 metres of elevation gain. So it would take something extraordinary for a sprinter not to pull on the first leader’s jersey.
Last year’s Renewi Tour saw three bunch sprints. Jonathan Milan bagged two, while Jasper Philipsen took the other.
The Green Kilometre – with three intermediate sprints within 1,000 metres, each worth 3, 2 and 1 bonus seconds – kicks off 25.3 kilometres from the line. More time bonuses are on offer at the finish: 10, 6 and 4 seconds for the top three.
