Renewi Tour 2025: The Route
Stage 1 takes the riders across the flat roads of the Dutch province of Zeeland, close to the sea. Stage 2 also favours the fast men, with the race going from the Belgian coastal town Blankenberge to Ardooie. Last year, Milan celebrated a win there.
Stage 3 is a familiar one, too. The riders tackle a series of climbs from the Tour of Flanders, including the Taaienberg, Bosberg, and Muur van Geraardsbergen, before finishing halfway up the Muur on the Vesten. That means 500 metres of cobbled climbing at 6%. De Lie claimed victory on the Vesten last year, edging out overall winner Wellens in a direct duel.
Stage 4 is another hilly race, though it could easily turn into a sprint finish. Between the start in Riemst and the finish in Bilzen, the route features several short climbs, but that didn’t stop Milan from sprinting to victory in Bilzen last year.
The final stage of the Renewi Tour starts and finishes in Leuven, where the 2021 World Road Race took place. The course features no fewer than 27 short climbs.
