Vuelta 2024: Results
Primoz Roglic won the 79th edition of the Vuelta a España. The Slovenian was flanked on the final podium by Ben O'Connor and Enric Mas. With his overall victory, the Slovenian equalled Roberto Heras' record, as both won La Vuelta four times. Moreover, Roglic took three stage wins in 2024, as did Wout van Aert and Kaden Groves.

Dunbar wins at Picón Blanco, Roglic retains La Roja
Eddie Dunbar strikes 5 kilometres from the summit of Picón Blanco. The Irishman overhauls attacker Pavel Sivakov and solos to his second stage win in the Vuelta. Enric Mas finishes second, with red jersey holder Primoz Roglic in third.

Stage win and race lead for Roglic at Alto de Moncalvillo
After being launched by his teammates, Primoz Roglic goes solo within the final 5 kilometres of the Alto de Moncalvillo. He stays well ahead of the other GC contenders and takes both the stage and leader's jersey. Ben O'Connor drops to second place, Enric Mas still sits in third.

Steven Kruijswijk attacks from the breakaway on last climb of the 18th stage of La Vuelta. He is countered by Urko Berrade, who then solos to victory. With the exception of Mikel Landa, the GC contenders cross the line together, so Ben O'Connor retains the red jersey.
