Race report
The race starts under neutralised conditions, before the flag is dropped with 25 kilometres to go. Frank van den Broek, Rémy Rochas, and Carlos Verona are up or it, and they go on the attack. Diego Uriarte also bridges across to them, but in the final 10 kilometres, only Verona and Van den Broek remain in the lead.

The two are caught, and Van den Broek remains active. But he’s certainly not the only one. Attacks are everywhere.

In the final kilometre, Quinn Simmons makes his move. The course rises all the way towards the finish line, and the American just manages to hold on long enough to keep the sprinters at bay.
