UAE Tour 2026 Route stage 4: Fujairah - Fujairah

UAE Tour 2026 Thursday 19 February – Stage 4 of the UAE Tour is a constantly rolling affair, with the riders tackling around 2,400 metres of elevation over a distance of 182 kilometres. The last 26 kilometres drop down towards a flat finish.

Fujairah lies on the Gulf of Oman. In recent years, the capital of the eponymous emirate has served as the start of the Jebel Jais stage, but this time it serves as both start and finish. In between, the riders traverse the foothills of the Hajar Mountains. The climbs are never particularly tough, but the route is far from completely flat.

Soon after the start, the route rises over 8.1 kilometres at 4.3% to reach just under 500 metres – the highest point of the day. From there, the riders remain between 200 and 400 metres above sea level. They tackle a hilly lap near the Hatta Dam, where the UAE Tour has finished in previous editions, and where the route ramps up to double digits at times, though for the most part the slopes are modest.

With 26 kilometres to go, the riders are back at the top they climbed from the start. They follow the same roads back, this time descending towards the finish, which lies right on the Gulf of Oman. The final 7 kilometres are as flat as a curling sheet.

The first three riders across the line gain 10, 6 and 4 bonus seconds, while 3, 2 and 1 seconds are available at the intermediate sprints.
