Tour of Valencia 2019: Adam Yates takes Queen Stage, Ion Izagirre new leader
The Tour of Valencia serves its Queen Stage on the fourth day. Adam Yates attacks in the steep last kilometre and powers to the win. Ion Izagirre is the new overall leader. (Slideshow route/profile)

Race report
Following a hectic start with a lot of movement the race calms down when Silvan Dillier and João Rodrigues open up gap at kilometre 30, while Diego Rubio bridges across. The trio widens the gap to more than 4 minutes.
Rubio and Rodrigues are left behind by Dillier with 30 kilometres remaining. He tackles the last climb 1 minute ahead of the peloton.
Merhawi Kudus jumps across to Dillier 2 kilometers before the finish. LL Sánchez and Rui Costa are close behind, but they are all brought back.
Adam Yates launches the decisive attack on a steep stretch within the final kilometre. Alejandro Valverdes reaction is too slow and the Briton takes his first win of 2019 ahead of the World Champion. Ion Izagirre crosses the line in fourth to move into the overall lead.
