Tour of Valencia 2019 Route stage 5: Paterna - Valencia

Sunday 10 February 2019 - The 5th stage of the Tour of Valencia starts in Paterna and runs to a likely sprint finish in Valencia.

The last two editions of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana also concluded with a race from Paterna to Valencia. A technical and wet finish in the city centre took the sprint trains out of the equation in 2018 before Jürgen Roelandts outgunned Danny van Poppel on the line. Two years ago Bryan Coquard took the flowers, while Stijn van den Bergh stayed ahead of the chasing pack in 2016's finale.

Since the race returned to the UCI calendar in 2016, the Tour of Valencia always finished in the provincial capital.
