Tour de Suisse 2026 Route stage 4: Aarburg - Aarburg

Tour de Suisse 2026 Saturday 20 June – The Tour de Suisse serves up an individual time trial of 23.7 kilometres on the penultimate day. With only 160 metres of climbing, the course is virtually flat.

The only uphill section comes on a 560-metre stretch averaging 3.9%. It is situated in the most technical section of the course, though that is only relative, as it is simply the most twisting part of an otherwise very straightforward route. The ITT course is tailor-made for the pure specialists, featuring straight roads and pancake-flat terrain.

Last year’s Tour de Suisse time trial was a completely different proposition. On that occasion, the route climbed steeply almost throughout. João Almeida knew exactly what to do with it, powering his way to both the stage win and overall victory.

The intermediate time check comes after 10.3 kilometres.
