Tour de Romandie 2026 Route stage 4: Broc - Charmey

Tour de Romandie 2026 Saturday 2 May . The 4th stage of the Tour de Romandie is 149.6 kilometres long with 3,175 metres of elevation gain. After three climbs along the way, the final ascent is an 8.1-kilometre effort at 8.3%, followed by a 16.7-kilometre descent to the finish in Charmey.

A handfull of kilometres after the start in Broc, the riders already pass through the finish town of Charmey. They then continue along the valley floor towards Jaun, where they tackle the Jaun Pass, which will be climbed three times during the day. The first ascent is 6 kilometres long at an average gradient of 7.8%. After the descent, the riders tackle the same pass again, this time from the other side, making it a tougher 7.4-kilometre effort at 8.8%.

The riders descend back to Jaun and then continue over roads that will later feature in the finale. They pass through the finish town and then the start town, before heading on a wide southern loop towards the Saanenmöser, a 5.9-kilometre climb at 4.2%, with the summit 40.2 kilometres from the finish.

The riders fly down the Saanenmöser to Garstatt, and shortly afterwards the Jaun Pass reappears. The final ascent is taken from the same side as the second ascent, although they start slightly earlier, making it an 8.1-kilometre effort at 8.3%. From the summit, there is a 16.7-kilometre descent to the finish in Charmey.

The first three riders across the line gain 10, 6 and 4 bonus seconds.

Stage 4 of the Tour de Romandie starts at 12:05 and is expected to finish around 16:05 - both local times (CEST).
