Tour de France Femmes 2024

Kasia Niewiadoma won the 3rd edition of the Tour de France Femmes, while Demi Vollering and Pauliena Rooijakkers rounded out the final podium. The race, which started in the Netherlands and finished in Alpe d'Huez, started on Monday 12 August 2024 and finished on Sunday the 18th.

Vollering wins in Alpe d'Huez, Niewiadoma clinches narrow GC triumph
Demi Vollering attacks on the Glandon. Pauliena Rooijakkers follows, while yellow jersey Kasia Niewiadoma struggles to keep up. A thrilling battle of seconds unfolds on the final climb to Alpe d'Huez. Vollering takes the stage win, but Niewiadoma secures the overall victory by 4 seconds.
Solo triumph Ghekiere, Niewiadoma retains yellow
QOM leader Justine Ghekiere wins the first Alps stage after attacking from the breakaway with 13 kilometres to go. She solos to victory ahead of Maëva Squiban before Demi Vollering outsprints Kasia Niewiadoma for third place.
Kerbaol solos to victory, Niewiadoma still leader
Cédrine Kerbaol attacks in the descent of the last climb of the day, the Côte des Fins. The 23-year French rider solos to victory, while Kasia Niewiadoma stays in the lead of the general classification.
Vas wins crash-marred finale, Niewiadoma new leader
Yellow jersey Demi Vollering hits the deck with 6 kilometres remaining. A group of five riders then enters the final kilometre, which runs uphill. Blanka Vas outguns Kasia Niewiadoma, but the Polish rider can take comfort as she moves into the overall race lead.
Pieterse wins three-up sprint
Yellow jersey Demi Vollering sets such a ferocious pace on the Roche-aux-Faucons that only Puck Pieterse, Kasia Niewiadoma, and Pauliena Rooijakkers are able to follow. The latter loses contact on the plateau after the top, and then it comes down to a sprint-à-trois in Liège. Pieterse takes the spoils millimetres ahead of Vollering.
