Tirreno-Adriatico 2026 Route stage 3: Cortona - Magliano de' Marsi
Latest update: 11 March 2026 - link to results added
Apart from a few gentle undulations, the first 80 kilometres are essentially flat. Then a short climb of 2.3 kilometres at 5.4% begins in Todi, leading up to Collevalenza. After passing through the village, the road drops slightly before rising gently again. In this rolling section, two small climbs of around 4% stand out.
The longer one stretches just over 5 kilometres up to Marmore. At that point, the riders still have roughly 100 kilometres to go. That section starts with 40 flat kilometres, followed by a 7-kilometre climb at 4% to Petrella Salto. Once over the top, the day's climbing is done.
The rest of the route is almost completely flat, while last 10 kilometres are entirely level. In other words: sprinters, enjoy yourselves!
In the previous Tirreno, there were four sprints. Jonathan Milan won two of them, while Olav Kooij and Andrea Vendrame each took one.
