Tirreno-Adriatico 2025 Route stage 7: Porto Potenza Picena - San Benedetto del Tronto

Tirreno-Adriatico 2025Sunday, 16 March – The final stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico is a 147-kilometre race. Just before the halfway mark, the riders tackle two climbs, but the rest of the route is as flat as can be.

After a flat opener, the road kicks up for 2 kilometres at 7.3% to Santa Maria della Fede. A descent of similar length follows before the riders return to climbing on an 8.5 kilometres stretch at 4.6%. Ater moving through Ripatransone, it’s all downhill to San Benedetto del Tronto.

Once the riders reach the Adriatic coast, a pancake-flat circuit of 14.5 kilometres awaits. The loop is tackled five times.

It’s the third consecutive year the Tirreno-Adriatico finishes in this way. In 2022, Phil Bauhaus won the sprint in San Benedetto del Tronto, beating Giacomo Nizzolo and Kaden Groves; in 2023, Jasper Philipsen outsprinted Dylan Groenewegen and Alberto Dainese; and last year, Jonathan Milan took the spoils ahead of Alexander Kristoff and Davide Cimolai.

The first three riders across the line gain 10, 6, and 4 bonus seconds, while 3, 2, and 1 seconds are up for grabs at the intermediate sprint.
