Ruta del Sol 2025 Route stage 3: Arjona- Pozoblanco

Friday, 21 February - Stage 3 of the Ruta del Sol is a 162.1-kilometre race between Arjona and Pozoblanco. The peloton passes through the Jaén countryside and the Los Pedroches Valley in Córdoba, mostly on flat to slightly undulating terrain.

The riders tackle just one categorised climb along the way: Alto de Españadares, an 8-kilometre ascent that is crested 45 kilometres after the start. The rest of the route is more undulating.

The last kilometre runs uphill at shallow gradients.

With 17 kilometres to go, the first-ever Golden Kilometre of the Ruta del Sol offers a total of 18 bonus seconds. Three intermediate sprints within a single kilometre are awarded 3, 2, and 1 seconds each.

Time bonuses are also awarded at the finish line, granting 10, 6, and 4 seconds, respectively, to the first three classified riders.
